Welcome! In today’s post I thought it would be helpful to show you how to have a nice, organized travel itinerary. I have done some written itineraries but never a document on my laptop and I’ve learned that it is so much easier to do it this way. Traveling and preparing for traveling can be hectic and you just want to be able to relax during your vacation so it’s important to have everything written down so you could look back to it when you need important information such as addresses, phone numbers, events, and times of activities.
Hello 2018! I know, my resolution list is way late, as it’s already the 9th of January! But I finally have a laptop and a quiet room to peacefully work in, as I just got back from a four week vacation all over the place. I’m technically still on my vacation because I’m currently in Germany, but I’m leaving tomorrow and as part of my resolutions list, I’d like to be productive with my blog wherever and whenever! Below is my 2018 resolutions (in no particular order) that I have set for myself, and they have changed quite a bit from previous years, because I am constantly changing and reevaluating what should be important. I know that you don’t need to wait for the new year to change, break, or make new habits. But it lets me reflect on the past year and think about what I could improve on and it’s a good basis for change for me.
It’s finally December! This is the first time I have ever made a wishlist and it’s been super fun. I’m not too fashionable so most of my wishlist items aren’t clothes, but rather things I would like or need to take on my upcoming adventure.
Ever go on an awesome adventure and wish you documented it? I have, so many times. It’s not at all hard to take maybe fifteen minutes at the end of the night to jot down places you’ve been to, things you’ve seen, people you’ve talked to, and all that jazz. Your travels will wind up as distance memories, but no more! Alas, I have compiled a list of worthy journals that will help you organize your excited thoughts and emotions and make those experiences last.
To be honest, I have never heard of this beauty product convention until a few days before. My cousin needed to give away her ticket because of time constraints and work, and naturally I’d take any convention pass! I love roaming around large expo halls and seeing different stands and whatever they’re trying to sell me. What I didn’t know, was that she had the very fancy VIP pass. I have never been anywhere as a VIP holder, so this was a very invigorating experience from the start.
When I visited my boyfriend this past winter, we took a short but romantic trip to Paris, France. I tried my best to capture everything worthwhile that we did on my dad’s camcorder but did not manage to get everything, so below I added some places we ate at and things we did.
If you’re new to my site, welcome! If you’ve been on here before, yes this may be déjà vu. That’s because this is a post I already made a few years back, but since I lost everything on my old domain I shall repost here [and edit to stay relevant]!
xx
Long distance relationships may seem like all fun and games until it’s your significant other’s birthday… Then it gets real. Or Valentine’s Day… and it gets realer. And it’s always stressful, you can’t just hastily get a gift at the last minute for these types of relationships, it includes planning and time management. Four years ago I had to get everything in order and take it to the post office two weeks before his birthday, just so it can get on time– and it did! One year I threw everything in a box and scurried to the post office and it shipped in five days! The future! And if you’re lovestruck baboon like I am, you’ll surely know that you’d have to make that present for any holiday extra special to compensate for you not physically sharing it with them.
So a birthday, Valentine’s Day, or Christmas gift or any package in general is unfinished without these:
My friends and I drove to San Francisco back in January to attend the “ultimate trance destination” called Dreamstate. Aaaaand, it was magical. This was my very first rave and I had no clue what to expect. My friends and I made kandi (is that how you spell it?) beforehand and planned our cute little raver gear (albeit we forgot our alien headbands back home) and even taught me how to PLUR. That’s Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. In fact, I “plur’d” with someone for the first time that weekend and it was a very emotional experience for me.
It’s true, I started a YouTube channel. Mainly because I was so inspired by other Youtubers and I was really interested in filmmaking and film editing. As you can see I like to dabble in writing, photography, and now videography. So now I just record some stuff and spend a few hours editing it to my liking as a new outlet of documentation for my silly adventures. It’s all just for fun, don’t take me too seriously!
Hello to all of my faithful followers (friends and family). If you ever wondered what happened to my petitememoirs.com blog, well I forgot to pay its renewal and lost everything. 🙁 But I’m totally okay with that. Yes I lost a lot of blog posts I put my heart and soul into but that just motivates me to compensate with more. Only this time, I make videos too! (Oh jeeeez.)
So I will continue to post my lame outfits, random impulse purchases, buzzfeed-wannabe articles, and my sub-par videos for your entertainment when you’re bored. And just so I have some content up and to remind you that I actually did stuff, I will post down below some of the pictures I have lost from the other website. Enjoy!
